The Lancashire Cardiac Centre is a tertiary service providing heart & lung treatment for Lancashire & Cumbria. We are recruiting a Band 7 Cardiac Physiologist specializing in Pacing and Electrophysiology for our busy unit.

We undertake over 500 Electrophysiology studies & ablations, including complex multi-site mapping for arrhythmias. We perform over 1000 pacemaker, ICD, Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapies, leadless pacemakers, and loop recorder procedures annually. The unit also offers a lead extraction service. Pacemaker and ICD patients are supported through daily physiologist follow-up clinics and a device nurse team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Pacing and/or EP, hold BHRS or IBHRE qualifications, possess a BSc in clinical physiology or equivalent, and be on the RCCP register.

As a Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist, you will work autonomously within the Cardiac Investigations Unit, providing a highly specialised clinical technical service impacting patient management. This role requires postgraduate training and relevant qualifications.

You will be part of a highly specialised Pacing and Electrophysiology team, working in a friendly environment committed to delivering excellent patient care and collaborating with heart failure & arrhythmia teams.
