Job Description:

Spire St Anthony's Hospital has a rare opportunity for a Lead BSE Accredited Echocardiographer to join their passionate team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and lead the echocardiography service to success.

Founded in 1904, the hospital delivers high-quality healthcare with a recent £27m development investment, serving Sutton, Epsom, Surrey, and South London.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform echocardiography investigations for adults and adolescents, following BSE guidance.
  • Assess patients' health and wellbeing across a complex caseload.
  • Provide reports for scans.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new cardiac services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize technology for measurement, monitoring, and treatment.
  • Recognize and understand responsibilities related to Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI).
Who We're Looking For:
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and technological aptitude.
  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
  • Completion of BSE accreditation and registered with BSE.
  • Post-qualification experience in echocardiography.
  • Ability to scan adults and, ideally, adolescent patients.
