Job summary

Murphy is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the Highlands programme. Based in the Highlands/Alness to Wick and Glasgow for the two-year rotation, you will join the commercial team and receive mentoring as you work toward a professional qualification with support from your dedicated mentor.

You will experience a structured Murphy Graduate Training Programme, rotate through sectors, and develop core commercial skills while contributing to sustainability and cost control on live projects.

Qualifications

• Time management and organisation skills.
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage subcontract and material procurement schedules.
• Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts and improvement plans.
• Identify project risks and opportunities; update risk/opportunity register.
• Prepare and maintain cost to complete/bottom-up forecasts.
• Prepare cost reports to the client with contractually compliant documentation.
• Undertake contract administration and management of subcontractor accounts.
