Protocol Education is seeking experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work in a mainstream primary school in Redbridge. The role involves leading lessons, supporting pupil learning and managing a classroom with confidence.

Ideal candidates will have classroom teaching or lesson-leading experience, be reliable and adaptable, and comfortable using public transport. ECTs or those working towards PGCE are welcome to apply.

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for your next opportunity? Or an aspiring teacher ready to gain valuable classroom experience? We want to hear from you!

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, confident and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work in a mainstream primary school in Redbridge.

We are ideally looking for candidates who have experience teaching a class and are confident leading lessons, supporting pupils’ learning and managing a classroom.

Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or currently working towards your PGCE? This could be a fantastic opportunity to develop your teaching skills, gain valuable classroom experience and explore a potential placement opportunity to support your induction journey, subject to the school's requirements.

About the School

The school is a faith school with specific dietary requirements that all staff must respect: No meat or nuts are permitted on the school premises. Lunch options, including jacket potatoes, are available. There are shops within a reasonable distance if you prefer to purchase food during your break.

Travel and Flexibility

With the upcoming closure of the A13 Lodge Avenue flyover, we are particularly keen to hear from candidates who are flexible with their travel arrangements and are happy to use public transport to get to and from the school.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous classroom teaching or lesson-leading experience.
• Be confident managing a class and supporting pupils across a mainstream primary setting.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, patience and a commitment to children’s learning.
• Be reliable, adaptable and professional.
• Be flexible with travel arrangements and comfortable using public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
