Catcliffe Primary School in Rotherham is seeking a motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support learning across year groups.

You will lead whole-class and small-group activities, support pupils including those with SEND, and work with teachers to plan and differentiate lessons.

This permanent, term-time only role offers 32.5 hours per week, a strong professional development program, and the chance to impact many children.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum across key stages.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.
• Good organisational, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide cover lessons and deliver whole class teaching when needed.
• Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated learning activities with teachers.
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development, individually or in groups.
• Help pupils with additional needs access the curriculum effectively.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reporting and feedback.
• Manage resources and prepare classrooms for learning activities.
• Occasionally supervise other support staff and colleagues.
• Participate in school activities, meetings and ongoing professional development.
