Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a welcoming primary school in Kettering. You will support teaching and learning across the school, lead small group interventions and deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

With an HLTA qualification or equivalent, you will work closely with teachers, SEN staff and leaders to help pupils make strong academic and personal progress in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

• Hold Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school located on Kettering for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team as soon as possible. Your role will involve supporting teaching and learning across the school, leading small group interventions, and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and senior leaders, you will play a key role in helping pupils make excellent academic and personal progress.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), your responsibilities will include:
