Valley Academy in Bradford is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our academy on a full-time, permanent basis. The HLTA will complement teachers’ delivery of the curriculum, support staff, pupils and academy policies, and help with planning, resources and assessment. Hours are negotiable between 32.5 and 37 per week.

As a HLTA, youwill complement teachers' delivery of the curriculum and contribute to thedevelopment of other support staff, pupils and academy policies and strategies.You Will work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist them in the wholeplanning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. You Will supervisewhole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. You Will providesupport to pupils, teachers and the academy in order to raise standards ofachievement for all, by utilising your advanced levels of knowledge and skillswhen assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes and toencourage pupils to become independent learners. You Will provide support forpupil welfare and support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of academylife.
