Job summary

Astro Education is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a South Manchester SEN/SEMH school. The role is full-time and permanent, with an ASAP start and a straight-to-permanent route after induction.

You will support pupils with SEN/SEMH, work closely with teachers, and help create a positive learning environment in small classes.

Astro Education are currently supporting a specialist school in South Manchester that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The school provides education and support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With small class sizes and a highly supportive environment, the school is committed to helping every pupil achieve their potential.

The Role

As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and the wider pastoral and support team to provide high-quality learning and behavioural support.
