Responsibilities

• Support teachers with delivery of lessons.

• Assist in maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with staff to support pupils' day-to-day development.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA, Higher Level Teaching Assistant or Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential. As an HLTA in Runcorn, you will play an important role within the classroom, supporting teachers and pupils with their learning and development. You will have the opportunity to support lessons, lead learning activities and provide high-quality learning support to pupils.

The Role

• Supporting teachers with the delivery of lessons
• Leading learning activities and lessons when required
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support
• Supporting pupils with their reading, writing and numeracy
• Helping pupils develop their confidence and independence
• Managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Supporting pupils with their day-to-day learning and development
• Working closely with teachers and other school staff
• Helping to ensure pupils remain engaged and focused on their learning

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed HLTA in Runcorn who can make a positive difference to pupils' learning and development.

Experience as a:

• Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Teaching Assistant (TA)
• Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
• Classroom Support Assistant
• Experienced Education Support Worker would be beneficial.

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a school or educational setting
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA
• Ability to support and deliver learning activities
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A caring, patient and supportive approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children and education
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
• A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service
