Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist SEN school in Greenwich. You will support pupils aged 4-11 with Autism and complex learning needs, delivering engaging activities and targeted interventions.

You will work with teachers to support academic, social and emotional development, and may lead lessons when required, helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. Immediate start available for suitable candidates.

Are you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a real difference?

We are seeking dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to join a specialist SEN school in Greenwich, supporting pupils aged 4-11 with Autism (ASD) and complex learning needs.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging learning activities, provide targeted interventions, and support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. You will also lead lessons when required and help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

The ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will have:

• HLTA status or relevant experience within an SEN setting
• Experience supporting children with ASD and complex needs
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, flexible, and proactive approach
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
