Job summary

Meon Junior School is seeking a Higher Level Teacher Assistant (HLTA) on a fixed term basis until 31/08/2027. You will deliver lessons to cover PPA time, work with class teachers to raise attainment, and support pupils to engage with the curriculum.

• A HLTA qualification would be desirable or the attribute to work towards obtaining this
• Previous experience in Key Stage 1 or/and Key Stage 2
• Passionate about inclusive education with the ability to support all learners
• A team player with initiative, able to work collaboratively while also demonstrating independence
• Well-developed interpersonal skills in order to establish strong working relationships with a wide range of people including pupils, staff, parents and external professionals.
• An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
