Job summary

Queen Katharine Academy in the United Kingdom is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Guided Futures) to support students with SEND and EHCPs. You will deliver targeted interventions, promote independence, and apply trauma-informed approaches to help learners overcome barriers.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Guided Futures

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 32.5 hours, 39 weeks (term time plus one week)

Working pattern: 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: Pathway 5, £24,912 - £26,755 per annum (FTE £33,119 - £35,570)

Site: Queen Katharine Academy

Your role:

As our HLTA - Guided Futures, you will support students with SEND and additional needs to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. You will deliver interventions and planned learning, promote independence, and use trauma-informed approaches to help young people overcome barriers to success. You will work closely with colleagues, families and external agencies to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive.

We're looking for a qualified HLTA with a strong understanding of SEND, EHCPs and inclusive practice. You will be a resilient and compassionate professional who builds positive relationships, communicates effectively and inspires young people to achieve more.
