Meadow Park School is seeking a motivated and flexible individual to join the SEND & Inclusion Team. You will work with students with diverse needs, mentor learners, and support teachers to raise attainment and attendance.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, liaising with families and external agencies, and contributing to a nurturing, high-expectation learning environment. You will collaborate across the school to ensure students reach their potential, while modelling professionalism

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of SEND & Inclusion by providing care and supervision to students.

About this Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen atMeadow Park School for a motivated and flexible individual to join our SEND& Inclusion Team, which is a key part of our provision to support youngpeople in school. The role will providean opportunity to work closely with a range of students and abilities, toensure students achieve their full potential. You will contribute to improvingoutcomes for students by providing support, guidance and supervision, acrossthe range of the four broad areas of need.

You will support the Director of SEND& Inclusion by providing care and supervision to young people includingthose who have additional physical, emotional and educational needs. You willmentor students and teach small groups, establishing productive workingrelationships, acting as a role model and setting high expectations to helpstudents through a formative stage of their education.

You will support students throughworking in a variety of settings from 1:1 to small group work, includingsupporting students in the classroom setting and work collaboratively withteachers, families and external agencies to ensure students excel. You willassist the teacher or SENCO in liaising with other professionals and families,contributing to meetings to discuss a specific child's progress as appropriate.You will track and monitor student's progress within interventions and reportto the SENCO. You will contribute to the work of the school in raisingstandards of attainment, improving attendance, reducing exclusions andpromoting good standards of behaviour.
