Job summary

Amington Heath Primary School is seeking a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. The role focuses on supporting SEN pupils with EHCPs and working across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 under teacher direction.

The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing and capable of working with individuals or small groups, communicating effectively with staff and families, and understanding safeguarding and child welfare requirements.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience of supporting learning in Early Years, KS1 and/or KS2 for 3 years.
• Ability to work with individuals and small groups under teacher direction.
• Positive, patient and nurturing approach to supporting children.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities under the direction of teaching staff.
• Assist with small-group and individual learning targets.
• Help monitor pupil progress and wellbeing in class settings.

Due to continued growth and the evolving needs of our pupils, we are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community. This role will predominantly be working with Sen Children who have will have an EHCP.

If you have a passion for helping children thrive, experience within Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, and the flexibility to work as part of a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification
