Job summary

St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School in Nottingham is seeking a suitably qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning during a temporary term-time period. The role is 28.5 hours per week across 46 weeks per year, commencing 2 November 2026 and ending 31 March 2027.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the NVQ/NCFE Level 4 Teaching Assistants Course (or equivalent GCSE grades or higher)
• Experience of working within all phases across the school.
• Experience and understanding of SEND needs.
• Experience of working with 1:1 or small groups of children.
• Be able to work in all phases of the school.
• Experience with end of Year Statutory assessments
