Broadhembury Church of England Primary School is seeking a fixed-term HLTA to start November 2026, funded through EHCP money. The post-holder will oversee and deliver targeted interventions for pupils with EHCPs, direct teaching assistants on EHCP provision, and cover classes to release teachers for coaching and training.

The role is full-time and term-time only, split between midday teaching assistant duties and HLTA hours, with lunchtime enrichment for EHCP pupils and the wider school

A fixed-term HLTA post at Broadhembury Church of England Primary School, starting November 2026 and funded through EHCP money. What’s required

Qualifications

• A-C GCSE in English and maths, or equivalent

Experience

• HLTA experience, or equivalent qualifications
