Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd. is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor for a temporary contract in Hedge End. The role involves delivering planned lessons, supervising Year 3-6 classes, and supporting Year 6 students with SAT preparation in Reading and Spelling.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cover supervisor or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum.
• Patient, empathetic and resilient approach to supporting young people.
• Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality practices.
• Enhanced DBS check (support available if required).

Full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor

Pay:£88.50-£100 per day

About the Role

We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or a confident cover supervisor to work with an ofsted "Good" rated school in the Purbrook area. The school need someone who can teach from given plans and manage a classroom without teach support. The role would also include small group work to support Year 6 students with SAT preperation in Reading and Spelling.
