REESON Education is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for the SEN ARP unit in Dagenham, East London. The successful candidate will have TA experience and be capable of leading Maths and Literacy with SEN pupils.

You will work 1:1, in small groups and with the whole class, collaborating with the class teacher to develop schemes of work and a positive learning environment. Immediate start available.

Qualifikationen

• GCSEs (Maths, Science, English) at grade C or above.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Experience teaching Maths and Literacy to whole classes.
• Must have prior TA / Teaching Assistant experience!

Aufgaben

• Work 1:1, in small groups and with the whole class within the SEN ARP unit.
• Lead small group intervention classes for pupils of varying ability.
• Lead some classes in the absence of a teacher.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to develop schemes of work and a supportive learning environment.

• The will and interest to want to work with SEN pupils

MUST have prior TA / Teaching Assistant experience!

About the HLTA / Higher Level Teaching Assistant Role:

• Working 1:1, in small groups and with the whole class with the the school's SEN ARP unit
• Opportunity to run small group intervention classes with pupils of both low and high ability
• Will be leading some classes in the absence of a teacher
• Working closely with the class teacher to develop schemes of work and a working environment that everyone can prosper in
