Job summary

Milk Education is seeking passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work across specialist SEN Schools in Derby on long-term and short-term assignments. You will support pupils with additional needs, delivering lessons when teachers are absent and working closely with staff to promote inclusive learning.

Ideal candidates have HLTA qualifications or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and a patient, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or significant experience at HLTA level.
• Recent experience in an education setting.

• Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Promote positive behaviour, encourage independence, and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff to support ongoing development.

Milk Education is recruiting passionate, dedicated, and ambitious Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across specialist SEN Schools in Derby on both long-term and short-term assignments.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced support staff looking to take the next step in their career, playing a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs while working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning.
