Job summary

CER Education is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a Doncaster primary school. This full-time role involves delivering PPA cover, leading lessons, and supporting pupils with movement through key stages.

Role Responsibilities

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school:

  • Deliver PPA cover during teachers’ planning, preparation, and assessment time
  • Lead lessons across the primary age range using pre‑prepared materials
  • Support classroom learning and help engage pupils in their activities
  • Work closely with teachers to enhance the learning experience for all pupils
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
