Higher Level Inclusive Learning Assistant (Various Hours Available)
West Lancashire College is a medium sized further education college based in Skelmersdale. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated person to provide support in maths and English GCSE and Functional Skills classes to learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The aim of the position is to enable our 16-18 and adult learners to make excellent progress in English and maths, maximise their achievement and move positively forward with their lives, independence and employment.
This post has a number of hours available up to a maximum of 35 hours per week (5 x 7 hours) and we will consider applications from people seeking less hours of employment on an individual basis.
The successful applicant will have grade 4 or above in GCSE math and English (or equivalent) and qualifications/experience of supporting learners in education, the health care sector or other relevant field.
