Job summary

Portfolio Payroll is supporting a leading manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls for circa 3,000 employees. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will ensure accuracy, compliance and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead high-volume data processing, manage statutory deductions and RTI submissions, respond to payroll queries, and collaborate with HR, Finance and site teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume payroll environment.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator across all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll for weekly and monthly cycles.
• Input and validation of starters, leavers, changes, absences.
• Data uploads, reconciliations and statutory payments.
• RTI submissions, year-end tasks and payroll queries.
• Audits, reporting and continuous improvement.
