NIE Networks in Craigavon is seeking Plant Maintenance Electricians / Fitters to secure ongoing maintenance and refurbishment of transmission and distribution substations. You will work on switchgear, transformers, and related equipment, performing carry out construction activities and substation inspections as needed.

The role requires participation in a standby rota and travel across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will have an electrical maintenance background, hold NVQ Level 3

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with relevant electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Carry out maintenance, refurbishment, construction and decommissioning of equipment in transmission and distribution substations.
• Inspect and service switchgear and transformers operating from 230 V to 275,000 V.
• Perform basic electrical installations and monitor equipment health.
• Contribute to the standby rota as required.
