Job summary

Megger is seeking a motivated Service Technician to join our Dover team. You will maintain, service and repair Megger's high-voltage test vans and testing equipment, travelling to customer sites across the UK and Ireland with overnight stays as required.

Based primarily at our Dover headquarters (60% travel), you will produce detailed service reports, ensure safety documentation, and support calibration and fault diagnosis within strict timescales.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Experience servicing, maintaining or repairing high-voltage electrical equipment or similar instrumentation.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across the UK and Ireland to service, repair, inspect and test high and low voltage equipment.
• Maintain, service and repair Megger's high-voltage test vans and associated systems.
• Produce detailed service, inspection and testing reports, including Health & Safety documentation and risk assessments.
• Create, update and maintain service schedules, inspection records, calibration certificates, test reports and repair documentation.
• Carry out calibration support, fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance and repairs on high-voltage instruments.
• Respond to customer inquiries, providing technical support and a high standard of customer care.
• Ensure all work complies with company procedures, industry standards and Health & Safety legislation.
