Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Civils Technician to support ground works for underground cable installation and maintenance across projects in the UK. You will liaise with third parties, supervise a working party on site, and assist with safety documentation under the Project Engineer.

Frequent travel and valid UK driving licence are essential; roles may require working away on weekdays, weekends or bank holidays as needed by the works program. Prior HV/substation experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience with high voltage and civils work on UK network projects.
• Valid UK driving licence required; ability to travel and stay away as needed.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and undertaking ground works for underground cable installation and maintenance.
• Coordinating with scaffolders, shot blasters and traffic management contractors.
• Assist with site documentation and safety compliance for on-site activities.
• Work under the Project Engineer to meet schedule, cost and quality targets.
