Job summary

Leading Residential Developer is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the technical delivery of a high-rise residential scheme. You will manage the design process, consultant team, statutory approvals, and technical delivery through the project lifecycle.

You will ensure compliance with Building Safety Act and Gateway submissions while driving programme, quality, and commercial objectives on a Crawley-based project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Technical Manager or Design Manager in residential developments.
• Strong track record delivering high-rise schemes.
• Comprehensive understanding of Building Safety Act and Gateway submissions.
• Excellent consultant management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical function on a complex residential development from inception to completion.
• Coordinate external consultants, architects, engineers and advisors.
• Oversee planning amendments, discharge of conditions and statutory approvals.
• Prepare Gateway 2 and 3 submissions in line with Building Safety Act.
• Liaise with Building Safety Regulator and authorities to ensure compliance.
