Job summary

TXM Recruit seeks an experienced Hydraulics Technician to join a high-performance team working on a premier sailing project in Naples, Italy. You will assemble, install, test and maintain advanced hydraulic actuation systems critical to yacht performance.

The role requires a recognised mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent, with proven experience in high-pressure hydraulics and the ability to mentor junior technicians in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical apprenticeship, vocational qualification or equivalent experience in fluid power systems.
• Proven experience assembling, maintaining and fault-finding high-pressure hydraulic systems, ideally above 350 bar.
• Experience leading or coordinating technicians and managing workloads under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and plumb hydraulic systems including manifolds and actuators.
• Support planned maintenance schedules and ensure safety and servicing standards.
• Assist with dock-out procedures, yacht preparation and launch activities for sailing events.
• Build and operate hydraulic test rigs to validate components and flush systems.
• Inspect components for wear and corrosion and feed back to design teams.
