Job summary

M-Sport Limited is seeking an experienced Hydraulics Technician to join the Hydraulics Department at Dovenby Hall. You will assemble, test and maintain hydraulic systems for competition cars, working closely with Engineering, Design, Workshop and Quality Control to ensure top performance and reliability.

The role requires strong hydraulics knowledge, practical assembly skills and a solid understanding of drawings, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of hydraulic principles, components, systems and safe working practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Strong practical skills with the ability to assemble and install hydraulic components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and prepare hydraulic systems and components per drawings and build requirements.
• Prepare hydraulic components, fittings, hoses, pipes and related equipment.
• Carry out pressure and functional testing of hydraulic systems to ensure performance and safety.
• Diagnose and resolve hydraulic faults and issues with a methodical approach.
• Maintain and refurbish hydraulic components and systems to keep vehicles operational.
