Tradewind Recruitment LTD. in Sheffield is recruiting a High Needs SEN Teacher to work in a specialist school within a respected Multi-Academy Trust.

This supply/temporary role starts ASAP and pays £160-£240 per day, depending on experience, and is on-site in Sheffield. You will plan differentiated lessons for pupils with complex SEND, including autism, foster a calm, inclusive classroom, support communication and emotional regulation, monitor progress, and follow EHCP guidance with school

Qualifications

• Experience working with high needs or complex SEND is desirable.
• Experience in SEN settings and autism provision is advantageous.
• Ability to plan and differentiate lessons for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Support pupils with complex SEND, including autism.
• Create a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships and understand individual pupil needs.
• Support communication, emotional regulation and behaviour where required.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Support pupils' academic, social and personal development.
• Follow EHCP outcomes, IEPs and school policies.
