Job summary

Westover Green Community School & Autism Centre in Bridgwater is seeking a motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils individually, in groups or as a whole class, helping them access the curriculum and experience a sense of achievement.

You’ll join a supportive and ambitious team committed to helping every child reach their full potential within a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) and experience supporting pupils in the classroom.
• Experience leading learning activities under supervision.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually or in groups to access the curriculum and participate in learning.
• Assist with whole-class learning activities and learning times as directed.
• Work alongside teachers to implement learning plans and manage classroom behaviour.
