Job summary

Elite Employment Dorset Ltd is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for Bridgwater, Somerset. The role runs term-time only over 39 weeks per year, with duties spanning teaching support, curriculum delivery and student welfare.

Candidates should have experience with SEND, strong Maths and English, and a Level 3 TA qualification or HLTA status is advantageous. The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils on the Autistic spectrum is desirable.
• Proven experience of working with children in an educational setting.
• Experience working with young people with special education needs or additional learning difficulties would be advantageous.
• A good level of Maths and English.
• Level 3 in supporting teaching and learning in schools is an advantage.
• Higher level Teaching Assistant (TA4 / HLTA) is desirable.
