Job summary

Windwhistle Primary School is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive and ambitious team. The role delivers learning activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes under the guidance of teaching staff, and supervises classes during teacher absence to maintain continuity of learning.

You will work with teachers to plan and deliver interventions, support pupils with SEND, monitor progress and contribute to assessment.

Qualifications

  • Has a minimum of four years' experience working within a school environment.
  • Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent in education.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and child protection practices.
