Job summary

St Edmund's Junior School is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Junior School team. The HLTA will support pupils across from Pre-Reception to Year 6, working with class teachers to deliver targeted support, interventions and classroom cover.

We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who can work independently and with colleagues to promote academic, social and emotional development, while maintaining high expectations for all.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
• Commitment to supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Ability to work independently and with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support high-quality teaching and learning across the Junior School.
• Deliver interventions and, where appropriate, lead learning activities and provide classroom cover.
