Job summary

Pertemps Milton Keynes in Northampton is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver for ongoing day shifts. You will perform multi‑drop deliveries across the region, load/unload when needed, and maintain vehicle checks with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Immediate starts and regular weekly pay are provided, with a flexible pattern of any 5 days from 7. Applicants must hold a Category C (Class 2) licence, Driver CPC, a valid Digital Tachograph Card, and have up to 6 penalty points.

Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Day Drivers for ongoing work based in Northampton.

Whether you're an experienced driver or have recently passed your Class 2 test, this is an excellent opportunity to secure regular work with competitive rates of pay and a flexible working pattern.

Location: Northampton
Shift Pattern: Any 5 days from 7
Start Times: Between 04:30 and 07:00

The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries across the region
• Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintaining high levels of customer service
• Adhering to Driver Hours regulations and company procedures

Pay Rates

• £19.93 per hour
• £24.54 per hour Saturday & Sunday

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements
• A professional and reliable attitude to work
• Good communication and customer service skills
