Job summary

LondonEnergy Ltd. is seeking a HGV class 2 Driver (Hooklift) to service North London recycling centres, transferring waste between centres and transfer stations in Islington, Wembley and Edmonton.

You'll drive a modern truck with safety features, receive training, and have opportunities to progress toward transport planning or HGV class 1 driving, with a 10-week rotating shift pattern from 6:00 to 16:30.

Qualifications

• HGV experience preferred, especially in waste industry
• Must hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
• Must hold a valid digi-tacho card
• FORS Safe Urban Driving training would be a plus

Salary: Salary of £39,286.21 per annum + shift allowance of 7.5%

About the Role

As a HGV class 2 Driver at LondonEnergy you will be responsible for servicing our reuse and recycling centres around North London. Transferring waste between our centres and our waste transfer stations in Islington, Wembley and the EcoPark in Edmonton. We provide you with a truck that is fitted with the latest safety equipment and provide training that will give you the skills and confidence to drive around London in a safe and courteous manner, positively reflecting LondonEnergy's highly focussed safety culture. Requirements

• Previous HGV class 2 Driving experience (within the waste industry and/or on a hooklift vehicle is a bonus!)
• Hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
• You must be able to work Monday - Sunday on a 10 week rotating shift patter.
• Earliest shifts starting at 6:00 and latest shifts ending at 16:30
• Hold a valid digi-tacho card
• Have a positive attitude, be approachable and reliable!
• FORS Safe Urban Driving Training would be preferred but not essential
