Job summary

Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is seeking a professional HGV2/LGV2/Class2 driver for ongoing work in the Birmingham area. The role involves delivering retail goods nationwide, with a maximum of 11 drops per shift and manual handling of stock from tail lifts or cages, using curtain and box-sided vehicles.

The position requires a valid HGV2/LGV2/Class2/C licence, an in-date tachograph and CPC card, no major driving convictions, and at least 12 months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV2/LGV2/Class2/C Category C licence.
• An in date digital tachograph and driver CPC card.
• No major driving convictions.
• Have a minimum 12 months HGV2/LGV2/Class2/C experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive a HGV2/LGV2/Class2/Category C vehicle.
• Deliver retail goods to stores nationwide, including alcohol, tobacco, soft drinks, snacks etc.
• Maximum 11 drops per shift.
• Move stock from tail lift or cage onto rear of vehicle for unloading by store colleagues.
• Operate curtain and box sided vehicle.
