Job summary

ESS Employment Ltd. in Yate, England, is recruiting an HGV2 Driver to support a local client with multi-drop deliveries.

Qualifications

• Ideally multidrop experience with HGV driving.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 HGV vehicles for multi-drop deliveries.
• Follow the transport plan and ensure timely deliveries.
• Comply with UK traffic laws and safety standards.
• Secure loads to prevent damage or accidents in transit.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites.
• Be flexible to support a busy transport team.
• Carry out pre-shift defect checks.
• Induction training and supervision will be provided.
• Perform other duties as required.

VACANCY – HGV2 DRIVER

ESS Employment are recruiting HGV2 Driver to support a local client with deliveries. This role will involve transporting goods in a safe and timely manner, deliver exceptional service while ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, prioritising safety and customer satisfaction in every delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 2 HGV vehicles to execute multi-drop deliveries efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to the transport plan while ensuring timely deliveries.
• Comply with all UK traffic laws, regulations and safety standards.
• Secure loads safely to prevent any damage or accidents during transit.
• Provide outstanding customer service, representing the company positively at all delivery sites.
• A flexible approach to working with varied demands of a busy transport team
• Carry out pre-shift defect checks
• Full training and supervision will be provided on induction
• Any other duties commensurate with the role

The candidate:

• Ideally have multidrop experience and held an HGV license for 1 year minimum (although maybe some exceptions)
• Valid Class 2/cat C HGV driving license.
• Valid CPC and Taco card
• Less then six points on your licence (as well as no DD,DR,DG,BA,CD,AC,LC
• Strong understanding of driver’s hours.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and a customer-first approach
