Job summary

Class 1 Personnel are recruiting for an HGV Driver on a temporary basis at their Bedford site. You will deliver customers' products on a multi-drop route, ensuring high standards of customer service.

You must hold a valid HGV licence with HGV2 eligibility, CPC card, and Tacho Card. A full driving licence, up to six points and no bans are required. The role emphasizes safe driving, daily vehicle checks, and accurate paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and handballing role, ensuring items are delivered into the client’s premises.

• Carry out daily checks, report defects, and complete correct paperwork.
• Observe procedures and policies at all times.
• Manage routing to achieve premium and timed deliveries.
• Use the correct equipment and PPE, and keep it in good order.
• Handle customer issues politely and effectively.

Class 1 Personnel are working with a national client to recruit HGV Driver for their site based in Bedford. You will be delivering customers' products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers' premises, treating their freight as if it were their own.

• Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner.
