Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers for a busy site in Bicester, Oxfordshire. The role involves predominately multi‑drop deliveries, manual handling, and using PDAs while providing friendly, reliable customer service.

You must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, have no more than 6 points, and at least 3 months’ driving experience with a solid understanding of drivers’ hours rules.

• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• 3 months driving experience.
• Knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules.
• Reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Predominantly multi drop deliveries.
• Manual handling at each delivery point with sack barrow and pallet truck.
• Use of PDAs for deliveries.
• Ensure excellent customer facing service and timekeeping.
• Work unsupervised with a flexible can‑do attitude.

HGV Class 2 Drivers | Bicester, Oxfordshire, OX26 4SS

Pay Rates: PAYE

• Sunday – Thursday or Monday to Friday - £16.80 - £18.80 PH

The role

• The role will predominately be Multi Drop Deliveries
• This will involve manual handling at each delivery point including use of sack barrow and pallet truck
• This role involves a lot of manual work
• Use of PDAs for deliveries
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
• Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
• Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

Requirements

You must have:

• A valid UK HGV Class 2 licence
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
