Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the Basingstoke area is recruiting reliable Class 2 HGV drivers to support a well-established logistics operation. The role offers a mix of day and night shifts, with temp-to-perm opportunities and competitive pay.

You will operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods across the UK, complete 8–10 drops per shift, load and unload, carry out vehicle checks, and provide professional face‑to‑face customer service while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong work ethic and customer-focused attitude.
• New drivers welcome; recent experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver across the UK.
• Complete 8–10 deliveries per shift, including multi-drop work.
• Load/unload and carry out pre- and post-journey checks.

Shift Patterns for the HGV 2 Driver:

Start times from 05:00

What You'll Be Doing As a HGV 2 Driver:

• Operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to deliver goods across the UK
• Complete 8-10 deliveries per shift, including multi-drop work
• Deliver goods to customers' homes or retail destinations
• Load and unload vehicles safely
• Carry out pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
• Follow scheduled routes and communicate with dispatch
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service
• Adhere to all safety regulations and legal driving requirements

What You'll Need As An HGV 2 Driver:

• A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• A strong work ethic and customer-focused attitude
• Recent driving experience is desirable (new drivers welcome)
