Job summary

Accelerate Personnel is recruiting an experienced Class 1 RoRo Skip Wag & Drag Tramper Driver to support our client with waste and recycling collections across the UK. You will operate a RoRo Skip Wag & Drag vehicle, transporting materials between customer sites and recycling facilities, often away from home Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include collections nationwide, safe handling of skips, completing paperwork, daily safety checks, and maintaining professional customer service throughout

• Exchanging and transporting RoRo skips safely and efficiently.
• Assisting with the handling of skips and recyclable materials where required.
• Completing collection notes and associated paperwork accurately.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely.
• Maintaining a professional standard of customer service at all times.

Job description

Accelerate Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Class 1 RoRo Skip Wag & Drag Tramper Driver to support our client with waste and recycling collections across the UK.

As an Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will operate a specialist Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) Skip Wag & Drag vehicle, transporting materials between customer sites and recycling facilities. This role involves working away from home Monday to Friday, returning to the depot at the end of the working week.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out waste and recycling collections and deliveries nationwide
• Operating a specialist Class 1 RoRo Skip Wag & Drag vehicle
• Exchanging and transporting RoRo skips safely and efficiently
• Assisting with the handling of skips and recyclable materials where required
• Completing collection notes and associated paperwork accurately
