Job summary

Daval Associates in Quarrington (NG34) is seeking a HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join our team. You will drive skip loaders and RoRo vehicles, delivering and collecting skips from domestic and commercial sites, while ensuring safe loading and compliant transportation.

The role is full-time with an early start, offering weekly pay and ongoing opportunities. A valid HGV Class 2 license, CPC, and Tachograph card are required, with experience in waste/recycling preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence is essential.
• CPC card and Digital Tachograph card are essential.
• Experience in skip or RoRo operations is preferred.
• Background in waste/recycling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate skip loaders and RoRo vehicles.
• Deliver and collect skips from domestic and commercial sites.
• Ensure safe loading, unloading, and secure transportation.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
• Follow road safety and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate skip loaders and RoRo vehicles
• Deliver and collect skips from domestic and commercial sites
• Ensure safe loading, unloading, and secure transportation
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Follow all road safety and compliance regulations
• Provide professional and friendly customer service

About You

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Previous experience in skip or RoRo operations (preferred)
• Background in waste/recycling (advantageous)
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work outdoors in all weather
