Job summary

John Lewis & Partners is seeking a Vehicle Technician to repair and maintain our fleet to DVSA and Partnership standards. You will work with experienced technicians and have access to the tools needed to excel, with opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career.

The role offers a permanent, full-time contract with a 37.5-hour week and overtime. Evening and night premiums apply for shifted hours in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications: City and Guilds Level 3 Vehicle technician or equivalent.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair our fleet of delivery vehicles to DVSA and Partnership standards.
• Complete inspections, services and defect sheets accurately and daily.
• Apply best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques for cost-effective repairs.

LGV C+E Driving Licence

Education
