Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am -4.30pm and Friday 8am -3.30pm

My client is a large fleet maintenancecompany based in Leeds, due to their continued growth they are now looking for a skilled HGV Trailer/Tanker Technician to join their ever growing team

About your new HGV Trailer/Tanker Technician role

• You will carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet of HGV trailers, tankersand provide technical support from fault analysis through to competition.
• Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
• Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
• Road test vehicle when required (if holder of HGV licence).
• Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller
• Fitting pumps & meters, repairing barrels, accident damage repairs to tanker body work, fabricate components, perform tank pressure test inspections.
• You would also regularly work with hydraulics and pneumatics

The successful HGV Trailer/Tanker Technician will require

• You will have an in-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles, HGV Trailers and Tankers
• Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (essential)
• Be a fully qualified HGV Trailer/Tanker Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
