Job summary

TR2 Recruitment is partnering with a well-established training provider to recruit an Automotive Learning Coach supporting apprentices in heavy vehicle engineering, based in Winsford with hybrid working. This full-time, permanent role combines on-site delivery with remote elements and offers a competitive salary and a £3,000+ car allowance.

You will coach about 40 learners, deliver progress reviews, mentoring, and observations, and work across mechanical, maintenance, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Strong background in HGV, bus, coach, or trailer engineering.
• Previous experience in teaching, training, or assessing (essential)
• Assessor and/or teaching qualification (desirable)
• Passion for mentoring and developing learners
• Ability to support both practical and theoretical engineering skills

Responsibilities

• Support and coach a cohort of approx. 40 learners
• Deliver progress reviews, mentoring, and workplace observations
• Work closely with apprentices in HGV and trailer engineering
• Support learning across mechanical, maintenance, and manufacturing disciplines
• Combine on-site delivery in Winsford with hybrid responsibilities
