Job summary

A leading logistics company is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers with tipper experience for temporary positions in Middlesbrough. Ideal candidates will hold the necessary licenses and have practical experience driving 8 wheeler wagons. Flexibility for early starts and potential weekend shifts is essential. Pay starts at £15 per hour with guaranteed hours and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK licence with HGV (Category C) Class 2 entitlement.
• Hold a valid CPC and Tachograph card.
• Have Class 2 tipper experience.
• Be physically fit for manual handling tasks.
• Be flexible with hours.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles for delivery and collection.
• Demonstrate confident use of vehicles and manual handling.
• Provide excellent customer service.

This is a temporary position for our client in Middlesbrough.

Candidates must have Tipper experience and be able to confidently demonstrate the use of the vehicles.

Candidates having experience driving SKIP RORO/manual box wagon will also be handy. Candidates must also have their own transport due to early start times and clients requiring cover in areas such as Middlesbrough, Stockton, Redcar, Skelton.

Pay & Hours:

• Pay starting from £15ph
• Weekly pay
• 8 hours guaranteed
• Plenty of Overtime
• 6am-7am starts (this may change depending on client requirements)
• Ad-hoc shifts – ideal for candidates looking to pick up work around other commitments

The ideal candidate must:

• Hold a full UK licence with HGV (Category C) Class 2 entitlement.
• Hold a valid CPC and Tachograph card.
• Have Class 2 tipper experience.
• The ideal candidate must be physically fit, as this position will require some manual handling, alongside excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Be fully flexible with hours due to early start times and potential weekend work.
