Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Limited is recruiting for an HGV Technician in Warrington. The role involves servicing, inspecting and repairing HGVs for external customers, with work at the depot and on customer sites.

Starting salary up to £52,000 per annum or £25 per hour depending on experience, with shifts including early and late patterns. Overtime is paid at enhanced rates and a strong safety culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
• NVQ/City & Guilds in HGV is beneficial but not essential
• Must be able to work as part of a team and use own initiative

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, inspections and repairs on HGVs for external customers
• Work at depot and on customer sites as required
• Prepare vehicles for MOT including inspection and rectification
• Complete all DVSA & company documentation accurately
• Maintain high health, safety and workmanship standards
