Job summary

CD Auto Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV/LCV Technician for a Warrington workshop. The role offers a strong basic salary, regular Mon-Fri hours and opportunities to boost earnings through overtime.

The workshop handles light to medium commercial vehicles, including 3.5t and 7.5t, with duties spanning servicing, maintenance and repairs. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HGV/LCV or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent vehicle maintenance qualification.
• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience.
• Good mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Experience working on light or medium commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of DVSA inspection and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles.
• Working predominantly on 3.5t and 7.5t vehicles.
• Maintaining vehicles from LCVs to 13.5 tonnes.
• Completing scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Replacing worn or defective components.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT and inspections.
• Completing workshop documentation and maintenance records.
• Ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
