Job summary

Axles Commercial Ltd is seeking an HGV Technician in the United Kingdom to perform routine maintenance and inspections to MOT standards. You will diagnose using computer-based software and identify issues before they arise, repairing parts and systems unique to our specialised fleet.

We offer a basic salary of £45,000–£55,000 per year, a 44.5-hour week, overtime rates, on-call overtime payments, a company pension, and a varied, supportive role within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance; other qualifications considered
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with HGV vehicles or HGV/Plant equipment
• Adaptable and flexible with a can-do attitude

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to MOT standard
• Diagnostics using computer-based software platforms
• Identify potential problems before they arise
• Repair components and systems unique to the fleet
