Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to transition into an HGV Trainer role, delivering hands-on and theory-based training to apprentices.

The role offers full teacher training, accommodation during a 6-week induction in Wolverhampton, and travel between Leicester and Wolverhampton sites, with a Monday–Friday schedule and excellent pension/healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Experience as an HGV Technician, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, PSV Technician, or Bus and Coach Technician.
• Strong hands-on industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory-based training to HGV apprentices.
• Support learners through their qualifications and development.
• Full teacher training and ongoing professional development provided.
• Initial 6-week training period in Wolverhampton with accommodation provided.
• Travel between Leicester and Wolverhampton sites as required.
• Monday to Friday role with excellent work-life balance.
